Rory Murphy studied at the School of Architecture , DIT, Dublin from 1983 - 1988. On graduating he joined the practice of Sir Denys Lasdun, London, working on a range of projects including the European Investment Bank, in Luxembourg.
In 1991 Rory moved to Paris working as a Senior Architect for Jean Nouvel et Ass. on the Triangle Des Gare in Lille .
On returning to Dublin, Rory worked for a short spell with the OPW prior to joining Murray O'Laoire Architects where he became an associate director in 1998. Rory was a part time studio tutor at the School of Architecture, DIT, Dublin from 1994 – 2001 and is currently an external visiting critic at W.I.T. School of Architecture. In 2008 Rory left Studio M Architects and with Alan Burns, one of the employees, set up ABRM Architects now based in Dun Laoghaire.

Introduction
ABRM Architects is a design led practice based in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin. The practice comprises two partners, Rory Murphy and Alan Burns and has a broad client base with work in the residential, retail, commercial and educational sectors.
